    About PAFDF

    The Pan American Flying Disc Federation (PAFDF) is the continental governing body of Flying Disc sports in the Americas (North, Central and South), recognized by the World Flying Disc Federation (WFDF).

    PAFDF is responsible for the governance and promotion of Flying Disc sports, including Ultimate, Beach Ultimate, Disc Golf, Freestyle, Guts and Overall in the Americas.

    With members across the region, PAFDF represents thousands of athletes and participants!

    The Pan American Flying Disc Federation (PAFDF) announces that Bogotá, Colombia will host the 2027 Pan American Youth Ultimate Championship (PAYUC 2027), July 22-25, with U17, U20, and U24 mixed divisions.

    Our Sports

    Ultimate

    A non-contact team sport played with a flying disc. Ultimate was developed in 1968 in the United States.

    Beach Ultimate

    A variant of Ultimate played on sand, typically at the beach, with 5 players per team instead of 7.

    Disc Golf

    A flying disc sport in which players throw a disc at a target, playing a similar game to golf.

    Freestyle

    A sport and performing art in which athletes perform acrobatic and dance-like routines using flying discs.

    Guts

    A flying disc sport where two teams of five players each stand 14 meters apart and throw the disc at the other team.

    Overall

    A combination of various flying disc disciplines, testing all-around disc skills.

    Wheelchair Ultimate

    A variant of Ultimate with modifications for players with physical impairments competing on a flat playing court.

    Adapted Disc Golf

    A variant of Disc Golf with modifications for players with physical impairments.
