I have had the privilege of serving on the PAFDF Board of Directors since 2022 and most recently as the President since 2023. It has been a great opportunity to meet other leaders and work with other passionate people to help grow Flying Disc Sports across our region. I have learned much from those who have served on the PAFDF Board of Directors over these last 4 years and I hope we can keep growing together.
In late 2024 the PAFDF Board of Directors began a process to formalize and professionalize our structure. We have been working hard to build awareness, credibility, and a foundation for the future. In 2025 we shared a plan with our members on how we planned to incorporate PAFDF, finalize its legal structure and framework, and create revenue sources and a budget. In addition to those important tasks we have been working hard to host more events so that ALL our members and Disc Disciplines can have greater opportunities to compete, develop, and achieve their goals.
I humbly ask for your support so I can continue and finish the work that we have started over the last 12 months. I am excited for this next stage for PAFDF and its members and I want to make sure everything is set up correctly so that PAFDF has the strongest foundation possible. I thank you in advance for your support.

I have extensive experience in sports management and events, working with USA Ultimate since 1995. I served as Mid-Atlantic Open Regional Coordinator from 1995 to 1999, on the Board of Directors for USA Ultimate in 1996 as Secretary, National Open Director from 2000 to 2005, and as the National Masters Director from 2006 to 2011. Since 2012 I have been an Events Manager for USA Ultimate and have overseen Disc Standards, Beach Competition, and the Tournament Director Certification Program.
I have also served on several WFDF Committees, including the Beach Ultimate Committee as Chair from 2019 to 2022. I am currently on the Board of the Pan American Flying Disc Federation.
I began playing ultimate in 1992 and coaching in 2004. I have been a certified coach and observer and have served as a Tournament Technical Director for both the Pan American Ultimate Championships (2011, 2013, 2015, 2017, & 2019) and the World Junior Ultimate Championships (2018). I also co-authored a chapter in the book Ultimate: The First Four Decades and assembled history of ultimate exhibits at WUCC and other locations in 2018 in celebration of the 50 years of ultimate.
I received a Bachelors Degree in History from the University of Virginia and, before I switched careers, was working as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley.
I would like to continue to serve the Pan American Flying Disc Community as I have since 2011 at the first Pan American Ultimate Championships in Colombia and from early discussions held there that would lead to the formation of PAFDF.
NF - Nominated: URU
Citizenship: URU
I have been involved with Ultimate Frisbee since 2009. From that year until now, I have been passionate about the sport and committed to promoting its development in Uruguay. I was part of the formation of the first team in the country and also helped organize the very first tournaments (and have continued doing so ever since). I have organized groups of players who have competed internationally, in different tournaments as well as WFDF events such as PAUC and WUCC.
Since 2019, when we succeeded in establishing the national civil association in Uruguay, I served as president for the first two terms.
Ultimate Frisbee is a sport I truly care about, and I strongly believe in the importance of promoting its growth, as it introduces many young people to healthy competition while instilling the values represented in the Spirit of the Game.
In the last term (2024–2025), I had the privilege of serving on the PAFDF Board of Directors. I would like to renew my commitment and continue working to strengthen Ultimate both in Uruguay and across the region.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and work professionally as a Software Developer. In addition to my technical background, I have teaching responsibilities at the Faculty of Engineering, where I contribute to the academic formation of future professionals.
Beyond my academic and technical experience, I have successfully taken on roles as a Project Manager and team leader, where I have coordinated diverse groups and guided projects to completion with positive results. These experiences have strengthened my skills in organization, communication, and decision-making—qualities that I believe are essential for serving effectively on a Board of Directors.
My combined background in technology, education, and leadership allows me to bring both strategic vision and practical management skills to collaborative initiatives at the regional level.
"During the past two years as a member of the PAFDF Board of Directors, I have witnessed and contributed to an important stage of transformation, where the federation began to establish itself and actively function as such. This period required significant work, and I am proud to have been part of that process.
Looking ahead, I believe there are many initiatives to carry out and a long journey of growth and consolidation for Ultimate in our region. I am motivated to continue contributing my energy and commitment to this path, supporting the federation's development and strengthening its impact.
Ultimate Frisbee is a sport I am deeply passionate about, and I am convinced that by working together we can create more opportunities for players and communities across the Americas. For these reasons, I would be honored to continue serving on the Board of Directors."
